Our client based in Atherstone requires a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator – MILLING (Late Shift) . You will be setting and operating universal bed type milling machines with Heidenhain control system. You will need to have a good understanding of 3 & 4 axis machining and have machined a wide range of materials including Stainless, Aluminium, Mild Steel and Cast Iron. You must also have some experience in machining medium to large fabrications and castings.
Requirements / Experience:
- EXPERIENCE IN MACHINING LARGE FABRICATIONS AND CASTINGS
- SAFE USE OF OVERHEAD CRANES
- READ & UNDERSTAND ENGINEERING DRAWINGS
- CARRY OUT OWN INSPECTION
- WORK TO HIGH TOLERANCES
- PROGRAM ON-LINE HEIDENHAIN CONTROL SYSTEM
- EXPERIENCE IN WORKING WITH UNIVERSAL MILLING HEADS
- MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH SHIFTS TO COVER HOLIDAYS
Our client offers:
- 39 hour per week (4 day week)
- Mon-Wed 4.00pm – 2am Thurs – 3.00pm – Midnight
- £18.00 - £20.00 per hour depending on experience
