FLT Counterbalance

We have an immediate requirement for FORKLIFT TRUCK Counterbalance Drivers (5 ton) to work with a leading manufacturing company based in SG19 (SANDY). Working as part of an experienced and professional Manufacturing and production team, you will be given full and ongoing training, excellent additional rewards and an excellent hourly rate. This is a hybrid role of FLT Operator duties and yard duties and is based on a rotating shift pattern as follows:

Hours of work

• Week 1 - Monday - Thursday 06.00 am - 18.00hrs Week 2 - Monday - Wednesday 18.00hrs - 06.00hrs
• Pay rate is £12.50 per hour

Requirements

• FLT 5 ton Counterbalance Licence
• Previous yard operative/construction or labouring experience desirable
• Ability to carry out repeated manual handling tasks with some heavy lifting up to 25kg
• Good knowledge of safe on-site health and safety practices, with the ability to work unsupervised
• Hard working and a good team player

General duties

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock around the warehouse and as required
• Ensure that quality checks are completed
• Operating plant equipment and driving the Counterbalance FLT
• General organising and tidying of the warehouse
