Food Quality Tester

BRAND NEW ROLE JUST IN!!

The Best Connection are looking to recruit a Quality Control Assistant for our client based in Scunthorpe.

You will need to have experience in a Quality Checking role, ideally in food and cooking and taste testing will be required so this position would not be suitable to any candidates with food allergies.

This position is Part-Time, working from 9:00AM-3:00PM, 5 days per week but our client is flexible with the start and finish time.

Any successful candidate may need to occasionally travel to Borehamwood in Hertfordshire for meetings, no more than once per month. However train tickets or petrol reimbursements will be provided.

Your job duties will include but are not limited to:

• Assess incoming stock for any defects e.g. damages, infestation etc and report to the wider team.
• Complete ongoing QC checks of stored stock in the warehouse and identify any potential issues.
• Support with complaints investigations to enable swift and accurate conclusions.

Key Requirements;

• Experience in Quality control, quality inspection, and testing. Ideally in the food industry.
• Understanding of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems.
• Demonstrate a “can do attitude”
