Hygiene Operative

The Best Connection (Newcastle) are recruiting on behalf of their client who are based on the Team Valley. The client is a North East based company that provides Industrial Cleaning services to various sites In Gateshead, County Durham, Newcastle and Northumberland.

This role is for a Industrial Cleaner and will involve driving the company vehicle to various sites to provide a deep cleaning service to commercial kitchens.

The role involves:

• Attending the business' HQ on Team Valley at the start of the shift. From there, you collect the company van and cleaning equipment ready to attend the job. You must return the company van and cleaning applicances at the end of each shift
• Kitchen Deep Cleans – including walls, floors, appliances, ceilings
• Kitchen Extract Systems – including ductwork and fans
• Air Handling Unit maintenance and filter changes
• LEV Systems
• Certain assignments may require you to work away and stay overnight (£20.00 overnight allowance)

The candidate:

• Previous experience of HVCA cleaning would be an advantage but is not essential
• Holds an IPAF
• As you will be given a company van to travel to different locations, candidates must have a Full Clean UK Driving License

Hours of work:

• Although most jobs are Monday to Friday, you must be able to work weekends if required.
• Day shift starts from 06:00am
• Night shift starts from 18:00pm

Pay Rate:

• £13.00 per hour for days and nights
• £18.00 per hour over 40 hours
