The Best Connection are currently seeking a Sewing Machinist for a Manufacturer and distributor in the Halifax HX2 area.
Hours of work Mon to Thu 0800-1630 Fri 0800 to 1500
Responsibilities of the Sewing Machinist
- Operating an Industrial Sewing Machine
- Relevant training may be given if required
- Due to location worker must have own transport.
Requirements of the Sewing Machinist
- Working with heavy duty fabrics
- Working at speed and with accuracy
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work to target.
- Heavy lifting.
Additional Benefits & Requirements
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- Ongoing Assignment

- Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
