We are currently recruiting for our client, a long standing metal company based in central Birmingham. The role we are recruiting for is an experienced Metal Polisher. This will be an ongoing position which can start immediately after a successful interview. Working in a factory with experienced colleagues, the role will involve polishing various metals such as stainless steel. *METAL POLISHING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED*
The role of the Metal Polisher:
- Polishing different types of metal
- Operation of high powered lathes
- Linishing, Brushing, Grinding
- Polishing of stainless-steel metal components to clean finishes
Hours Of work:
- 06.30 - 16.45 Monday - Tuesday
- 07.30 - 17:00 Wednesday - Thursday
Rate of pay:
- £12.00 to £14.00 per hour dependant on experience
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in metal polishing and working on lathes is essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Visual inspection skills
- Must be a team player
- Able to act on own initiative
