TIG Welder/Fabricator

Our client based in North Leicester are looking for Welder fabricators to join their team in ongoing roles with a view to becoming permanent following a successful trial period. You will be working on a weekly rotation of 06.00-14.00 one week and 14.00 - 22.00 the next paying up to £15.00 per hour.

Duties will include;

• TIG & MIG Welding precision sheet metal components
• Fabricating sheet metal using hand tools.
• Working on thin gauge metals
• Working to engineering drawings
• Finishing, fettling, and grinding own work

Skills needed for this role:

• Knowledge of specific welding processes, such as TIG, MIG and ARC
• Skilled in Sheet metal fabrication
• Ability to use variety of tools and equipment.
• Basic maths skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read drawings and recognise welding symbols specifications.
• Knowledge of industry safety practices

Pay rates and hours

Shifts are 06.00 -14.00 / 14.00 - 22.00 Monday - Friday on a weekly rotation

£11.85 - £15.00 per hour based on proven previous skills and experience decided upon completion of a skills test.
