Our client, a city centre busy recycling centre, is looking to recruit a part time yard operative for general duties to join their growing team. In walking distance of the city centre working 1-2 days per week, potentially increasing as work load dictates no weekends, would suit candidates that like outside working
Forklift license essential.
Hours and Rate of Pay
- Every Tuesday/Thursday
- 08.00 am - 16.30 pm
- May be more days and hours as the yard gets busier.
- £11.44 per hour rising to £13.00 after skills assessment and training
The Role
- Sorting and grading metals that come into the yard.
- Forklift duties moving pallets around the yard.
- Using hydraulic metal cutters.
- Manual handling & heavy lifting
- Working outside in all weathers.
