Louise Owen, who works as industrial consultant at The Best Connection's Crewe branch, took part in the Race for Life recently. The event, which was in aid of breast cancer, took place at Trentham Gardens in Stoke on Trent on Sunday 4th June.
Louise decided to take part in the race because she knows people who have suffered from the illness. Her and four friends ran 10k and Louise, who completed the race in just under an hour, managed to raise £100 for the charity.
This is the second time that Louise has completed the event as she joined the Manchester Race for Life last year, where she raised the same amount.
