New Sales and Business Administration NVQ's Upskill Workforce for The Best Connection

Leading employment group, The Best Connection, has launched an NVQ in Sales and Business Administration to up-skill its frontline and support staff.  The new work-based training schemes will give participating staff a nationally recognised qualification that will acknowledge competency and help to drive the company forward.

The National Vocational Qualification Level 2 in Sales or Business Administration, which offers an alternative to academic courses, is based around the employee’s job role and measured against nationally agreed standards.  Completion of the six month training leads to a certificate of competence.

Commenting on the launch of the programme, Neil Yorke, director, The Best Connection, said: “We are a people company and understand that training lies at the heart of our success and future.  Our staff are committed, motivated and very skilled at their jobs and this is partly a result of the continuous training they receive throughout their careers with the company.  The sales and business administration courses are further additions to help sharpen the skills set of those bringing new customers to the business and supporting our loyal client base.”

The pilot scheme, which is currently running across six branches, will be followed by a comprehensive national roll out in September this year followed by their alignment into the company’s Foundation Course and Administration Training Course.  Trainers visit staff at their local branch office to provide tuition and assessment on a regular basis.

The Best Connection runs both external and in-house programmes geared to specific needs that can be fitted around the company’s activities.  This investment has delivered greater efficiencies and productivity across the business.
