The Best Connection Launches New Branch in Newport

The Best Connection employment group, which supplies temporary labour to the driving, industrial and warehouse & distribution sectors, has opened its 53rd branch in Newport.

From its central location at Tredegar Chambers, opposite the Post Office on Bridge Street, the team is providing quality temporary labour to many large and small businesses in and around Newport.

Mike Lee, branch manager, is assisted by Justin Howe and Natalie Jeffries, senior driving consultants, along with industrial consultant, Steve Griffin.  The team is currently looking to recruit an additional industrial consultant.

Throughout the group, The Best Connection employs around 500 staff nationally, supplies 48,000 temps and services 8,500 clients.  Officially, as the UK's No. 1 driving agency and the 3rd largest provider of industrial and warehouse operatives, The Best Connection supplies many household names throughout the country.

As a company which prides itself on having one of the highest staff retention rates in the industry, The Best Connection has enjoyed a zero per cent turnover of its regional management team during the past eight years.  The average length of service of its regional managers is almost eight and a half years, while its branch managers average four and a half years.

Compliance with Working Time Regulations
