The Best Connection Celebrates Five Years in CrawleyThe Best Connection employment group, which supplies temporary labour to the industrial, HGV and warehouse & distribution sectors, is celebrating its fifth year in Crawley. Since opening its branch on the Manor Royal Industrial Estate in 2000, The Best Connection has continued to supply temporary workers to many major manufacturing and distribution businesses in Crawley and Croydon.The Crawley-based operation was the first branch which The Best Connection opened in the south. Following its success, the company expanded its operations in the south east with the launch of additional branches in Basingstoke, Earls Court, Hanger Lane, Poole, Portsmouth, Romford, Southampton, Staines and Worthing, bringing the total number of braches in the region to 10. The Best Connection was established in Birmingham in 1991 and now has 50 branches throughout the UK and is the UK's No. 1 Driving Agency*. The company is currently placed 7th in a league of Europe's Top 500 job creating companies. As a company which prides itself on having one of the highest staff retention rates in the industry, The Best Connection has enjoyed a zero per cent turnover of its regional management team during the past eight years. The average length of service of its regional managers is almost eight and a half years, while its branch managers average four and a half years. The company employs almost 500 permanent staff nationally, supplies 48,000 temporary workers and services 8,500 clients. It is on target to achieve a turnover in excess of £125 million this year.
