The Best Connection Continues to Partner Christian Salvesen

The Best Connection Employment Group, which supplies temporary labour to the industrial, driving and warehouse & distribution sectors, will continue to supply major European logistics company, Christian Salvesen, with temporary workers on behalf of its client, a leading UK high street retailer.  Christian Salvesen, which recently won a place in Britain's Top 100 Employers 2007 (Corporate Research Foundation) won the long-term contract on the back of a successful six month trial last winter and major work has now been undertaken to accommodate additional departments and maximum utilisation of available space at its national distribution centre in Trentham, Stoke on Trent.

Neil Yorke, director, The Best Connection, said: ¨After successfully recruiting temporary workers for packing and distributing products to stores in time for the 2006 Christmas peak, dozens of our workers achieved permanent status with Christian Salvesen and became its 'core' permanent workforce."

¨Due to the creation of additional departments at the distribution centre which peak at different times of the year, there will now be an ongoing requirement for a core number of agency workers to work not just at peak times, but all year round, Neil Yorke continued.
