The Best Connection supports Macmillan Cancer Charity

The charity, Macmillan Cancer Support, is the benefactor of a
donation of £1,000 from The Best Connection Group, presented to Fundraising
Manager, Sharon Battersby.The money
will be used to support the work undertaken by its nurses and other support
staff in helping those living with cancer.
“Although cancer is a word everyone fears, the reality is that more and
more people are living with and beyond cancer in our society today.Coping with cancer is made more bearable for
many by the tireless work and practical, emotional and financial support provided by the Macmillan
organisation.We are delighted to be
able to make a contribution to them,” said Neil Yorke, director, The Best
Connection.
As the range of treatments to tackle cancer becomes
more effective, more and more people are able to live with cancer in their
daily lives.Macmillan provides the
structure and support for the required medical help and ongoing support people
rely on to maintain a positive outlook and active life.
