The Best Connection employment group, which supplies temporary labour to the industrial, driving and warehousing and distribution sectors, has been awarded its Gangmasters licence.
No changes were required to the company's internal procedures or working practices in order for The Best Connection to meet the requirements of the Code of Practice or the Gangmasters Act.
Neil Yorke, director, The Best Connection, said: "The internal procedures that we already adhered to demonstrate the importance that we place on the welfare of our candidates and this was reflected in our being awarded the Gangmasters licence without needing to alter any of our policies."
The Best Connection, which has 63 branches throughout the UK, supplies 48,000 temporary workers to 8,500 of its clients. The company plans to continue its expansion with additional branches in the coming year.
