Top Track Recognition for The Best ConnectionThe Best Connection employment group has been ranked in the Sunday Times HSBC Top Track 250 league table of Britain's biggest mid-market private companies by latest sales.
The company has a network of 63 branches throughout the UK from which it supplies temporary labour to the industrial, HGV and warehouse & distribution sectors. The Best Connection employs 577 permanent staff, over 50,000 temps and services 10,000 clients.
In 2007 The Best Connection achieved a turnover in excess of £172 million and was ranked as the largest supplier of temporary drivers in the driving/HGV market (for the fifth consecutive year) and fourth largest industrial provider.
Commenting on entry in the Top Track 250, chief executive, Andrew Sweeney, said: "We are delighted to have been recognised for our sales achievements and success in becoming a member of the top 250 companies in this league table. We have consistently reached our growth aspirations and continue to dominate the driving and industrial sectors."
The Best Connection was formed in Birmingham in 1991. It has approached a niche market with dynamism and, in little over a decade, has positioned itself to become the leading operator in its sectors.
The company, which continues to be managed by its founder directors, operates a sustainable business model built on gaining and protecting market share, new acquisitions, product development and diversification.
