Why taking a temporary position is a wise choice

OK.  So the industrial, warehousing and driving markets in which we specialise are not the most glamorous but nevertheless they are essential to business operations.  The temporary job market has historically been considered by many job seekers as a last resort with greater preference for permanent roles.  This is understandable as most people seek security in their work and lives.  What is less apparent is that many benefits available to permanent staff are also given to temporary staff including guaranteed holidays, sick pay and strict adherence to regulations so this needn’t be a barrier to choosing this style of employment.

If full-time employment opportunities are not available or you simply are not ready for this commitment, you could consider more flexible temporary contracts as an alternative.  This is a potential route to a permanent placement and provides choice which is attractive to many.  It is not uncommon for our clients to take on temporary staff as full time employees and we actively encourage this route to permanent employment.   If you are in a quandary – let’s have a chat about the possibilities - you’ve nothing to lose!
