Our client, an international manufacturer of packaging solutions, requires Packaging and Warehouse Operatives to work at its Support Centre in Cheltenham. These roles may become permanent following a successful trial period. The site is easily reached from most areas of Cheltenham and there is a regular bus service.

Candidates will require last 5 year work history with no gaps

Working Hours & Rate of Pay:

• Monday 07.45-16.30
• Tuesday-Thursday 07.30-16.30
• Friday 07.30-13.30
• Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour

The Role:

The company are looking for good all-rounders who can (after training) work in the manufacturing, assembly and warehouse areas of the business. Some previous experience in these disciplines is desirable, but more important is your ability to learn new skills and follow set processes whilst demonstrating enthusiasm for the company’s goals.

General Duties:

• Assembling packing cases, boxes to the approved standards – some use of hand tools required
• Assisting with the warehouse function – stacking shelves, labelling and updating stock systems
• Loading and unloading vehicles: raw materials and finished goods
• Adhering to Health & Safety processes and maintaining a clean and tidy work area
• Other duties as directed by the client
