Our Client, a very well established Specialist in Manufacturing Iron Castings and rapid prototyping, based in Stourbridge requires two full time Quality NPI Engineers for a permanent position 

Purpose of the Role
To manage the smooth introduction of new products from design to production. You'll ensure everything is done on time, to the right quality, and within budget. This includes working with different teams, improving processes, and making sure customer expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage new product projects from start to finish
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams
• Coordinate departments to deliver on-time samples
• Track and report progress, quality, and costs
• Reduce waste, rework, and scrap
• Use tools like DFMEA, PFMEA, and quality audits
• Support casting simulations and process improvements
• Work closely with suppliers, pattern shops, and contractors
• Help improve safety, efficiency, and organisation on site
• Support training and flexibility within the team

What You’ll Need

• Confident and proactive approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with Excel, Word, and quality tools
• Understanding of manufacturing or foundry processes is a bonus
• Able to manage projects and stay organised

Hours/Pay and Information 

• Hours: 40 per week (07:00–16:00, some flexibility needed)
• Reports to: NPI Manager / Technical Manager

Works with: Quality, Production, Tooling, Sales, HR, and external supplier
