The Best Connection Group Awards Regional Managers with Directorships

Flexible workforce solutions business, The Best Connection Group, has appointed its team of six regional managers as company directors with immediate effect.
Over the past 18 years the business has transformed from a seven branch, 70-strong operation to become a market leader in its sectors achieving a turnover of £301m in 2014 and now employs over 700 staff across its national branch network.
Commenting on the appointments, Andrew Sweeney, chief executive, said: “Our regional management team have been the main driver behind our national branch structure and expansion. As a result of their dedication, enthusiasm and unstinting hard work, they have made a major contribution to us becoming a successful national company. In recognition of this, and to ensure that we continue to the next stage of our growth plans, we are delighted to announce that our six regional managers have been appointed to The Best Connection Board of Directors.”
Those receiving directorships are Darren Ainge, Lee Harris, Marcus Jepson, Darren Pollard, Dave Schilling and Phil Simmonds.
“Our managers, all of whom have developed organically within the company, have been loyal and committed individuals that have been with The Best Connection for a minimum of 15 years. We are confident that the appointments are right for the business and will create a strong management team to lead us into the future,” added Sweeney.
