Airfreight Import Clerk

The Best Connection are looking for an Import Clerk to work for a leading import and export logistics company. You will be joining the Import department team for a medium sized Freight Forwarder. As an Import Clerk you will be responsible for coordinating and executing the efficient movement of urgent time critical sensitive shipments by Air and Ocean. The responsibilities of the Import Clerk:

• Assess the most profitable mode of transport
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment moving freight across the world

• Liaising with customers continuously

• Confident producing documents for clearance, imports as well as creating invoices

• Use the in house systems for updating all relevant activities

The ideal candidate needs:

• Experience in CCS-UK systems
• Excellent attitude to work
• Computer literate and good communication
• Work effectively under pressure

Hourly Pay rate:

• £11.44ph -16.83ph dependant on experience

Hours of Work:

• 09:30 - 18:00
• Monday - Friday
