The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading precision engineering company based in Poole, for a CNC turner with experience using Fanuc lathes. Candidates will ideally have some working knowledge of setting and have basic programme editing skills.
Responsibilities:
- Operating Fanuc Lathes
- Setting up machines and editing programmes as required
- Changing tools when necessary
- Machining parts with high precision to very low tolerances
- Other basic tasks as required.
Ideal candidate:
- Previous experience operating Fanuc lathes.
- Have setting and basic programme editing skills
- Happy to work on repetitive jobs
- Available for an immediate start
- A team player, willing to get the job completed, and happy to perform other basic tasks as required.
This is a temporary to permanent role so for the right candidate it will become a permanent role after an initial 6 month temporary period.
Working hours:
- 39.5 hours per week
- Monday-Thursday - 7am-4pm
- Fridays - 7am-1pm
Pay rate:
- £30,810 - £32,864 per year depending on experience.
- Overtime available paid at time and a half
Additional Benefits & Requirements
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
