LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver

Are you an experienced and reliable Class 2 Driver seeking a new opportunity in Ebbw Vale? Look no further! The Best Connection Employment Group is currently hiring dedicated drivers to join our team on behalf of our prestigious Nationwide Client for home deliveries of furniture and houseware. If you're passionate about excellent customer service and enjoy being on the road, this could be the perfect role for you!

Working Days: 5 out of 7, including weekends

Start Times: Between 05:00 - 07:00

Hourly Rate: £14.90

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a Class 2 vehicle for home deliveries.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.
• Provide exceptional customer service, representing the company professionally.
• Handle necessary paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and promptly report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Collaborate with the team to optimise delivery routes and maximise efficiency.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 driving license.
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Previous experience as a Class 2 Driver, preferably in a home delivery environment.
• Excellent driving skills with a strong focus on safety.
• Good knowledge of local and national road networks.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
• Physical fitness for manual handling tasks as required.
