Warehouse Team Leader

The Best Connection are currently looking for experienced Warehouse workers, who have had exposure of leading a team, to work as a Warehouse Team Leader at our client's busy parcel distribution site, based in Farlington, Portsmouth.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
- Working in a parcel distribution warehouse
- Ensuring smooth operations during the afternoon shifts
- Leading a small team
- Scheduling tasks and allocating jobs to different team members
- Sorting parcels ready to be delivered
- Forklift driving
- Answering the phones
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
Previous warehouse experience, as well as experience of leading a team, are essential to be considered for this role. Having your own transport is essential due to public transport not being available at the finish time.
This is for an immediate start, and an ongoing, full-time position, with the company offering a permanent contract after a 12-week qualifying period.
This is to work on the afternoon shift. Working hours are Sunday - Wednesday, 12:00 - 23:00.
Starting pay rate of £11.44 per hour, with a £30 weekly bonus. This is likely to increase once you have proven your performance levels.
