The Best Connection West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist for our client based in Tipton.
Hours of work:
Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00
Pay rate: £16 per hour.
Key responsibilities:
- To be able to Program, set up, and operate CNC machines, ensuring accurate and efficient production of precision components.
- Perform offline programming using industry-standard software (onecnc)
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the production process.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating and programming CNC machines is essential.
- Proficiency in setting up and adjusting CNC machines for different production runs.
- Strong knowledge of G-code programming and CAD/CAM software.
- Experience with offline programming techniques to optimise production efficiency.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Adherence to health and safety regulations.
