HGV Driver

The Best Connection are looking for multi drop van drivers to join our expanding team in Preston!

Our Client has a reputation for quality and we have been tasked with finding the right people to represent them. The company specialises in active temperature-controlled deliveries to hospitals, pharmacies, wholesalers and medical care surgeries as well as to end patients.

Requirements of the driver:

• Full UK driving Licence
• No more than 3 points

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your own initiative

• 2 years minimum experience in Multi drop delivery

As a medical multi-drop driver, you’ll make between 30 and 40 collections and deliveries to GP surgeries, retail pharmacies, home delivery patients, wholesalers and hospitals.

• Complete daily safety checks of vehicle and refrigeration unit
• Check and scan all consignments
• Deliver consignments on an accurate and timely basis ensuring products stay within the required temperature range
• Ensure that records of deliveries are electronically captured and driver manifests are completed
• Maintain daily communications to provide service updates

This position is an immediate start and will be 40 hours per week and is a permanent role for the right candidate.

Previous medical multi drop/temperature control experience advantageous but not essential. For this role The Best Connection will be required to process enhanced disclosure criminal record checks
