LGV Moffett Driver

The Best Connection are recruiting for experienced CLASS 2 DRIVERS with MOFFETT LICENCE to join our well-established team based in Preston.

Requirements of the driver:

• Valid Moffett licence
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no IN, DD, DR, or DG endorsements)
• An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your own initiative.
• May be some elements of handball involved.
• Multi drop deliveries around the North-West.

Day to day role includes:

• Conduct thorough checks on the vehicle and maintain the appropriate temperature levels to ensure the safe delivery of all goods.
• Conduct pre and after-use vehicle checks in line with company policy.
• Keep a close eye on vehicle defects and wear and tear and report them promptly.
• Ensure that all documentation is filled out accurately and submitted on time.
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

Pay Rate & Hours:

Up to £16.00 per hour depending on experience - 8 hours minimum paid.

We are looking for drivers who are willing to start between 0700-0800, however all drivers need to be flexible to meet the requirements of the business.
