The Best Connection are currently looking for Class 1 Drivers shunters for night shifts.
As a Yard Shunter Driver, you'll play a vital role in our clients' warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include manoeuvring large vehicles within confined spaces, supporting loading and unloading activities, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
****one year’s class 1 experience required****
The role:
- Operating Class 1 vehicles to move trailers within the yard.
- Manoeuvring trailers in tight spaces with accuracy.
- Ensuring the safe transportation of trailers according to company standards.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
- Have at least 1 year of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
- Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Reliability is a key requirement for this position.
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
