The Best Connection prepares for Renaissance in the North

Date: 6th Monday, January, 2020

The Best Connection employment business has opened a new branch in Doncaster to support local people with finding temporary work assignments across the driving, industrial, manufacturing, engineering, logistics and warehouse sectors. The new office is located at Priory Walk near to the city centre.

The move is perfectly timed following the Government’s pledge to invest tens of billions of pounds from a £100bn infrastructure fund in the North and Midlands over a five-year parliament which will create numerous job opportunities across the region.

“The Best Connection supports many clients across the UK and has a good understanding of local employment dynamics.  We have a strong presence in the Midlands and North of England and our decision to open a new branch in Doncaster reflects the optimism we have in the UK’s economy and expectations for the region.  This announcement by the Government will be well received by the broader recruitment industry,” says Neil Yorke, Director, The Best Connection.

Prior to opening the branch, Doncaster had been supported by The Best Connection’s neighbouring offices in Sheffield and Barnsley which have been ‘caretakers’ for the area on a remote basis.  “Doncaster has a rich spread of businesses which the team will aim to develop and I am confident the branch will flourish and make a positive contribution to the local business community,” Neil Yorke added.

Across its network of 88 branches, The Best Connection employs 875 staff in the UK and North America and has specialised in the provision of temporary staffing solutions to the Driving, Industrial and Warehousing & Distribution markets for the past 28 years.
